| How can I qualify for free skincare every month? | It's very easy. Spend a qualifying amount at new-equilibrium-skincare or the-formulator. Then we will send you, automatically and absolutely free, our Skincare of the Month in the following month. If you live in the US, you must spend
at least $65 (excluding shipping) to qualify; outside the US, the qualifying
amount
is $85 (excluding shipping). |
| Can anyone qualify? | Yes. Anyone who spends a qualifying amount at new-equilibrium-skincare or the-formulator will
receive the Skincare of the Month in the month after that purchase. As always, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone; if we do not accept your retail order, you cannot qualify to receive free Skincare of the Month. |
| Will the Skincare of the Month be a new product? | Sometimes. We invent new skincare very frequently, and we like to get it out to customers as soon as possible and find out what they think; free Skincare of the Month is an ideal way to do that, and for the first year of the project we shipped a newly-invented formulaion every month. We also sometimes think a tried-and-true formulation deserves a larger customer base, and that if more people would try it most of them would like it; sending it out as free Skincare of the Month is also a good way to gain new fans for an established formulation, and we may do that whenever we choose. Once a month, we
will
designate one of our new or old inventions as the Skincare
of the
Month
and send it out to
everyone who qualifies. |
| What if I like the Skincare of the Month and I want to get more? | Every formulation featured as the Skincare of the Month will be available through our online catalog; at your convenience, you will be able to buy more for yourself and your friends. |
| Can I find out in advance what the Skincare of the Month will be? | When we decide what the Skincare of the Month will
be for any month, we will announce that in
the Elsom
Research blog and on the SkincareOfTheMonth.com
home page. If it is a new formulation, it will also be visible in
the "Recent Additions" section of the New
Equilibrium Skincare shop, where Elsom Research skincare and cosmeceutical
formulations are available for sale. |
| Can I ask for a substitution or an alternate selection? | You can ask, but the answer is "No." The
Skincare of the Month is a free gift from us; we choose what to give
you. |
| How can I learn more about the Skincare of the Month after it arrives? | When each month's Skincare of
the Month has been shipped, we will add a link to that formulation's
product
information page from the SkincareOfTheMonth.com
home page and in
the Elsom Research
blog. Online, we'll provide general-interest information such
as key ingredients, directions for use, and any relevant precautions; for
specific questions, please contact
us. |
| When will the Skincare of the Month arrive? | We expect to ship the Skincare of the Month during
the first week of every month. We will ship
it by First Class
Mail; depending on your location, it may take a few days or several weeks
to reach you. First
Class Mail
does
not provide
tracking numbers, so we will not be able to respond to inquiries about
where any package is at any time. The arrival of the package will be as
much a surprise as its contents. |
| What if my free Skincare of the Month package never arrives? | We cannot send replacement packages for this free
skincare gift. We promise to send a Skincare of the Month package to everyone
who qualifies; after that, we cannot accept any responsibility
for its delivery. |
| Where will you send my free Skincare of the Month? | We will send it to the same address we sent your
qualifying purchase. If your address has changed, please contact
us and let us
know. |
| Will you warn me when I am about to stop receiving my free Skincare of the Month? | No. Your free shipments of Skincare of the Month will automatically restart every time you make a qualifying purchase at new-equilibrium-skincare or the-formulator; you will receive the Skincare of the Month in the month following that purchase. Example: You make a qualifying purchase during the month of
November 2009. We will send you your
free Skincare of the Month in December 2009. Your
free shipments will then stop until your next qualifying purchase. |
| What kind of skincare will the Skincare of the Month be? | It could be anything we make at Elsom
Research. It could be an anti-aging
cosmeceutical, or a lip treatment,
or a vitamin-enriched moisturizer, or a scalp serum,
or anything else related to the care
of skin, scalp, and hair. Whatever it is, it will be designed and manufactured
with the same great
care and attention to detail that we devote to all
our products. |
| How long will the Skincare of the Month program continue? | We may choose at any time to alter, suspend, or cancel this free program, and we may do so without notice. Our initial plan was to offer free Skincare of the Month for twelve
months, beginning with October 2008, and then evaluate whether or how to
continue the program. As of October 2009, we have decided to continue offering
Skincare of the Month in a simplified form: make a qualifying purchase this
month, and we will send you free Skincare of the Month next month. |
